CaribDirect.Com a web portal dedicated to providing timely entertainment, business, social commentary and political insights from around the Caribbean to a global Caribbean audience has been following the work of Miss Elegant International for some time and believes the time is right to collaborate. This special partnership will allow for information and news about pageants, fashion shows and the like to flow from Africa to the Caribbean and vice versa.
In London and Nigeria the name Theodora Ibekwe is synonymous with glamour, style and designer brands. Having studied at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo state, Nigeria and the University of Lagos, Nigeria Theodora has excelled in her career pursuits working as an actress, model, writer, editor, promoter and Master of Ceremonies at most occasions.
Theodora has had several acting opportunities on Television where she featured in films such as Everyday Life, FRESH ACT which was aired on Ben TV sky channel 194 and OBE TV, respectively and others. She also has been used as a Cover girl for several glossy magazines in and outside UK and recently concluded a lead role in a Nollywood movie with the renowned actor Jim Iyke. The premiere of HEAVY MAMA IN LONDON was showcased in London and has since been released.
The recipient of many prestigious awards including Women in Enterprise Award, Nigerian Young Achievers Award (NYAA), Africulture Award and is a four time BEFFTA Awards Nominee (black entertainment, film, fashion and television, Theodora continues to distinguish herself. As the organiser of the Miss Elegance International Beauty Pageant and her tireless community work Theodora is much sort after to sit on other African and Caribbean beauty pageants in the UK and Africa.
