Calling Jamaicans To Celebrate The 61st anniversary of Jamaica’s Independence

The Jamaican High Commission is pleased to announce that the Service of Praise and Thanksgiving to celebrate the 61st anniversary of Jamaica’s independence will take place on Saturday, August 5th at Westminster Chapel, Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6BS, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Please refer to the attached flyer for more details. (Closest Tube Station: St James’s Park on the District or Circle Line). 

The service will include music, prayers, and a special tribute to commemorate Windrush 75. This is a chance to join Jamaicans from across the United Kingdom and honour the rich history and culture of our beloved island. 

Please be advised that the Church has a maximum capacity of 900 and we request that you arrive by 10:40 a.m. Seating will be on a first come first served basis.

Please follow the instructions of the ushers.
