Reggae singer of distinction, Beres Hammond celebrates his 66th birthday on Saturday August 28th, and we’re celebrating with him!
With a golden voice immediately recognizable, and several hit records that are known to multiple generations, Beres’s staying power rests in the way he relates to listeners.  Primarily singing songs about love and overcoming obstacles, fans find common ground and understanding in these themes.
To date, the Reggae star has recorded 19 solo albums, 13 of which are in partnership with VP Records.  His 2003 album Can’t Stop a Man is currently #42 on the Top 200 Reggae chart – 18 years after its release.
Last year (2021), Beres performed an intimate, yet interactive concert entitled Love From a Distance.  In true Beres fashion, he acknowledged that the pandemic had separated us, but that music brought us together.  His concert included special guests Buju Banton, Marcia Griffiths and Popcaan.
Re-live special memories from Love From a Distance, and make sure you send Birthday love to Beres on August 28th, 2021 on Instagram @bereshammond
