Beenie Man, the King of Dancehall, has been busy inna London town these last few months! Not only has he performed his first live performances in the UK for 13 years, at Yam Festival (Brixton), Rampage/ Shabba Party’s Carnival Sound Party (sponsored by VP Records) and the hugely successful London Reggae festival City Splash that took place in London on Sunday 12 Sept, he’s also joined DJs across the city for some fun and informative interviews.
Interviews included Ras Kwame (Capital Xtra), Mo Milligan – The Lateish Show (CH4)
ZeZe Mills (Podcast/Trend Central), Becca Dudley, Robbo Ranx and more. There’s no doubt from Beenie’s London trip that he’s showing us exactly why he’s one of the biggest legends and leaders in Dancehall music, who has blazed the trail to bring Dancehall straight back to the live stage in the post-covid landscape. Beenie’s new album Simma is due out and by all accounts it’s going to be big!
