Caribbean Question Time 2013

With the 2015 UK general election only 18 months away –

how can the voice of the UK Caribbean Diaspora be heard?

You are invited to participate in Caribbean Question Time 2013 to be held on Tuesday 3rd December, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, at One Great George Street, London SW1P 3AA

(near the Houses of Parliament).

The series is hosted by Jamaica National Building Society and is in keeping with the Society’s strong corporate social responsibility philosophy which involves hosting events in the United Kingdom to keep the community informed about current developments in Jamaica and the UK.

Caribbean Question Time (CQT) series, provides a medium for members of the Caribbean Community to discuss pertinent issues with the political representatives.

According to recent research, the ethnic vote in Britain may determine the outcome of the next general election and therefore this period preceding the 2015 election is an opportune time for dialogue.

The CQT format is similar to the popular Question Time TV programme, and will include a panel of Members of Parliament from the three main UK political parties and community representatives who will discuss key issues affecting the community while the audience will engage in lively discussions with the panelists on these issues.
