On Sunday 7th July 2013 the Barbados Cultural Organisation (BCO) hosted another hugely successful cricket focused event at the Blagdons Cricket Club in New Malden Surrey.
CaribDirect was on hand to witness the sea of umbrellas occupied by hundreds of sun bathers chatting and snacking. Children running around playing catchers, hide and seek and other games kept them busy allowing the adults to concentrate on the cricket matches.
The sound system was sure to provide a wide assortment of Bajan soca and calypso that had the crowd singing along or even dancing in some cases.
It was truly a day of fun for all. Prizes were awarded to the winners of the cricket matches while individuals were singled out for special performances.
