It is with great excitement that we, the ACS at the University of Oxford, write to invite your students to our FREE Annual Access Conference (AAC). The conference will take place on Friday the 23rd of July 2021 from 09:30am to 5:00pm in Oxford, UK (subject to COVID-19 restrictions).

What is the AAC?

The AAC is one of the largest student-run access conferences in the UK, aimed at supporting high-achieving year 12 students of African and Caribbean descent in making informed and well-prepared applications to the University of Oxford. Our panel Q&A sessions will provide a unique platform for pupils to ask questions and engage with relatable student role models and alumni of the university. The conference will involve information segments enhancing and demystifying the attendees’ understanding of Oxford’s application process and student life. Subject-specific sessions will be held, which will provide attendees with insights for their personal statements and a fuller idea of what the degree entails. It will be an invaluable experience for your students to develop the skills needed for a successful application.

A brief outline of the day

–      Panel with first year students about their application experiences

–      Talk with undergraduate admissions

–      Life at Oxford & After Oxford Discussion
