In celebrating its approaching 10th anniversary in February 2014, Tropical Connections has recently introduced a new initiative that will further link the UK and the Caribbean for mutual benefit – Tropical Connections Club!
Members of Tropical Connections Club will enjoy a mixed selection of products and services at discounted prices from UK and Caribbean suppliers/providers known as Discount Partners. The Discount Partners themselves will benefit by being exposed to a wider target audience through their association with Tropical Connections Club.
One new member of Tropical Connections Club was delighted at the saving he made within a week:
“On joining Tropical Connection Club on 25th November 2013 within a week I had made a saving of £271.00 on the costs of works to be carried out on our home in Jamaica.”
As Discount Partners are based both in the UK and the Caribbean, members of Tropical Connections Club don’t need to be using the services of Tropical Connections for a property matter in the Caribbean. They just need to love saving money.
As a special introductory offer, members signing up to Tropical Connections Club by 31st December 2013 will pay a reduced annual membership fee of £35.00 (single) or £45.00 (joint). These members will also qualify for free entry to a prize draw to win a two week holiday to St. Lucia in 2014 that includes two airline tickets, self-catering accommodation, a one-day island tour and airport transfers. The founder of Tropical Connections, Maureen Smith, who was born in the UK to Barbadian parents, strongly believes that it is vitally important for people of Caribbean descent to maintain links with the region as part of staying connected with one’s roots.
