Caribbean news. “Unity of UK St Lucian Associations are calling for nationals and friends of St Lucia to come and give support to our 35th Independence celebration Show & Dance on Saturday 22 February 2014 at Stratford Town Hall, London E15. The funds raised from this event will go towards the Christmas Eve disaster (which resulted in the loss of lives, extensive damage to the country’s infrastructure as well as the destruction of many homes) and other charitable causes in St Lucia. Sons and daughters of St Lucia your support will be fully appreciated at this fundraising event to help bring our country back to normalcy.
