Two students who participated in tourism competitions will be presented with awards at the National Youth Rally on November 2, 2011. Kitwanie Carbon, winner of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Tourism Youth Congress, and Medina Tyson, second place winner of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Essay Contest (second division) will receive awards from Minister for Tourism and Legal Affairs, Hon. Ian Douglas.
Miss Carbon is a fifth form student of the Convent High School and Miss Tyson attends the North East Comprehensive School. Discover Dominica Authority congratulates both students and wish them every success in future academic endeavours.
