How are you?
I am a man and have real feelings of dread! I reasoned that if I die there will be no one to carry on my name. I used to reason that way for many years. You see all these lovely girls who come aboard on this cruise line way back when, they used to be singing and doing all sorts of lovely things, I love them all. It was not easy to watch these girls come and go and this was about twenty five years that I have been with that special cruise line.
Call it Cruising on a Royal Boat. I know for a fact that I had roughly ten ladies pregnant at one time. Spirits were high and as a young man you just don’t think straight at times. I stayed in the US after my last cruise and got the fright of my life up to this time of writing. I am now married with twin girls. My life was great. I ignored those other women until now. One of my cousins decided to give me a gift for my last birthday. It was a DNA kit. Now I am confronted with my past.
Actually, my wife shouted out last night from the top of the stairway, “honey, the results are in and you, you what? You have four people matching you as Dad? Three girls and one boy.” I heard of this column and thought it best to write to you. Of course, I told her that there has to be some kind of mistake with me and some other guy. I am lost for words. I can hardly look my darling wife in her face. She nudged me to take a look at the website to re-read what she had read. She is not a foolish woman and I am lost for words as I said.

See what I am saying here! Working on a cruise line and now your past catching up with you! What do you expect, man? Let’s analyze this for real. You were living the life and you recalled for a fact that ten women were pregnant for you over the period of time.
Listen, listen to me carefully brother! You have to own up to that darling wife. True, you can begin with, “you know I told you that I used to work on the cruise line some years back? What had happened was…” Okay, so leave out the details and brother, if those four children matched you via the DNA, they are yours. DNA doesn’t tell lies!
For once in your life, own up to your cousin, your wife and everybody and yes, I believe that those children are yours. I wish you luck brother. You will need it.
