Caribbean news. After much anticipation, the Miss Teen Caribbean UK Finals is set for Saturday August 16th 2014 at the Brixton Assembly Hall. The ladies aged 13-17 all from the United Kingdom, will be representing various Caribbean Islands such as Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Jamaica and Antigua and Barbuda. Showcasing Talent, Culture and poise; The girls will display a cultural showcase that represents their heritage.
The event will also feature a Fashion Show by The Gregory London Mannings; showcasing designs by Danish Wakeel, Melissa Lukemga, Sherelle Manning and clothing range from Online Boutique Store Deana Kamille. Hosting the show on the night will be the stunning model, presenter and Crowned Miss Jamaica Universe 2008, April Jackson.
The fashion show will be for the opening of the Event, with the catwalk show starting from 2:30pm. There will be three different couture collections, from the four designers with pieces available for sale at the pop-up shops at the show. Entertainment on the day will be provided by dancers from Kids of Salsa Naturally. Special Guest appearances and Live performances also scheduled for what will be a teen explosion.
