(Tapes found on the DJs laptop)
The hole is being dug deeper and deeper for popular Dancehall entertainer, Adidja Vybz Kartel Palmer, as the police have a laptop said to be owned by the DJ in their custody. The laptop is said to have taped acts of the Gaza punishment being administered and also, acts of the induction of the female members into the Empire.
These tapes allegedly display the beating of former Portmore Empire artist, Gaza Kim, now known as Kym. The entertainer had said in interviews that he had no knowledge of the former member being beat up by his cronies. This leads to the question, then why do you have a recording of the beating on your computer?
Here is the answer to that question. As Kartel said in interviews he was not present at the time of the beating, and hence had no knowledge of this. However, it is alleged that due to the absence of the entertainer from the scene of the beating, he had requested that it be recorded for him for later use. Is that sick or what?
Also allegedly on those recordings is the entertainer performing sex acts

with two popular female member of the Empire. Apparently this was done as a blackmail tactic, so as to keep these members in tact. After what went down with Gaza Kim, he apparently was not taking any chances.
According to dancehallvid.com, Superintendent Forbes said that, “this is just the tip of the iceberg and when it’s all over Jamaican people will be shocked and horrified.” I for one anxiously and nervously await what is to come next.
There are also other developments coming out of this case, where Kartel’s designer is also charged with the murder of Clive Williams, also known as Lizard. It is alleged that Kartel’s designer, Moonie was pretty close to the artist and had first hand knowledge of the operation. It is alleged, also that Moonie had made a deal with the police, to reveal what he knew about the operation, however that deal had been forfeited for whatever reason and Moonie has since sought legal representation from Tom Tavares-Finson and son, Christian Tavares-Finson.
Allegedly, before Mr. Williams was killed he sent a text message to a close friend informing them that he was headed to visit Vybz Kartel at his house and if he did not return…(the rest of the message is not known)
All these new allegations have put Mr. Palmer in a very dark corner, with his future looking very bleak. But he has a good legal team so let us watch and see.
