Ghana recently passed a law banning smoking in public places and Chris Brown’s antics is considered a slap in the face of the authorities.  OseiOwusu, a director of Perfector of Sentiments [POS], a youth advocacy organization in Ghana is leading a campaign to have Chris Brown stand trial for promoting the public smoking of marijuana to a stadium full of young people.

Osei-Owusu has called on key figures in Ghana, including Parliament and the United States Ambassador in Ghana, to act. He has accused Chris Brown of encouraging young people to break the country’s laws.
