Saint Lucia, smarting from their loss to Barbados on Tuesday morning, handed St. Kitts and Nevis a 48-27 defeat. The tournament officials were forced shift the game to a late start in the morning, as early and mid-morning rainfall rendered the court unuseable.

Saint Lucia’s victory charge was let by goal-shooter Roxanne Synder who netted 24 goals out of 32 attempts, goal-attack Meagan Nestor scoring 2 out of 10 attempts, and Shem Maxwell who took over the goal-shooter from the goal-defence position despite an injured ankle, scored 22 out of 31 attempts.

For St. Kitts and Nevis, goal-shooter Aaliyah Gibson scored 24 out of 32 attempts, goal-attack Rochella Challenger scored 9 out of 16 attempts, and Jewel Thompson scored 6 out of the 8 attempts taken.

In the morning’s other match which also began late, saw Barbados registering their third straight victory, defeating Antigua and Barbados 48-31. Barbados goal-shooter Brianna Holder scored 12 out of 21 attempts, Latonia Blackman scored 18 out of 21 attempts, Faye Agard scored 13 out of 19 attempts, and Jada Smith scored 5 out of 9 attempts.
