Healthy Eating & Active Lifestyles for Diabetes (HEAL-D) Programme In Search Of Volunteers

I am involved in a  major research project  addressing health inequalities  through co-developing the Healthy Eating & Active Lifestyles for Diabetes (HEAL-D) programme which is specifically targeting  African-Caribbean people with type 2 diabetes.

There is a public patient and involvement (PPi) group  with representation from  regions but no one from the Birmingham area has been identified as yet to be involved.  The person must have type 2 diabetes,  never been involved with medical research  and will be reimbursed whilst on the group contributing their input.  I have cast this net far and wide so if you can kindly suggest anyone or if you fit the criteria  please contact Eleanor Hoverd at this email address: [email protected]
