The Stand Up To Racism Wales movement has objected to the government’s recent decision to deport refugees to Rwanda. See statement below:

We Stand Up To Racism Wales strongly condemn the racist plan to deport refugees to Rwanda.

Wales is a country of sanctuary. We strive for zero tolerance to racism and have declared our intention to be an anti-racist country by 2030.

Johnson’s Tory government wishes to deflect attention away from party-gate and an unwillingness to control rising prices and poverty by scapegoating vulnerable immigrants.

This grossly expensive and inhumane policy will create racist vigilantes and make every refugee and asylum seeker feel victimised . Wales says no!
