For many many decades Caribbean people have enjoyed and taken for granted several rights such the right to life, to freedom of speech, the right to be free from torture and slavery, freedom of thought, freedom from medical or scientific treatment without consent and others. This lawyer outlines a clear list of rights bestowed to us by the United Nations that we should be aware of and how they guide our response to any government’s treatment on the pandemic.
