The University of East London in collaboration with NHS Trusts and Community Groups in Newham will be hosting a Conference entitled “Holistic Living for Health and Well-Being of the diabetic in the Community”. Abstracts are welcomed for platform and seminar presentations.
This conference aims at presenting new and original research on aspects of holistic living for diabetics in the community setting; their everyday experience of living with diabetes, coping strategies, access to services, self-empowerment, and self-care.
Relevant research topics include, but are not limited to:
–Exercise and physical activity.
–Diet and nutrition.
–Conventional and alternative approaches to self-help and self-care.
–Psychological, environmental, social barriers in diabetes.
–Family and relationships.
–Spiritual and cultural factors.
Authors interested in presenting original work at this conference are encouraged to submit their abstract to [email protected] by 11th March 2022
