Jamaican sprint star, Asafa Powell recently had an early ending to his 2013 season due to his inability to make the national squad for the 2013 Track and Field World Championships; in addition he failed a drug test which basically ended his 2013 track and field season.

With the extra time on his hand Asafa decided to reveal himself in a major way to his fans. He posed for his 2014 calendar bearing abs and a little bit more. The pictures of the calendar which has been making rounds on social media have females (and let’s face it some males), weak to the knees. Most of the pics are topless and there were also a couple where the beloved sprinter was only wearing undies, leaving very little to the imagination of his female fans that lust at his oh so beautiful body.
There were also a few where he was fully clothed. He wore a suit in a couple; but that took nothing away from the sexiness of our beloved hot piece a chocolate bar.
In an On Stage interview where Asafa spoke about the calendar and the pictures; he confirmed that the calendar is him taking a step into the world of modeling. His fans (especially females) have been asking a while now that he enters into modeling. After all, he does have that body that he has been teasing us with for years now. So why not give us the opportunity to see it on a runway or in a lot more sexy pictures.
With Asafa stripping down to his undies; it begs the question; how does his conservative Christian mother feel about him bearing his temple for the world to see? After all reports are that she was not so pleased to have found out that her son was partying at The Quad Nightclub. So does she have his blessing to take on this modeling thing where he is bearing all that his mama gave him or is she calling for a prayer meeting to get her son back?
Either way, I have no qualms with a stripped down Safa.
